This website began as a project of students at Oregon State University (OSU) enrolled in Bryology Spring of 2014, taught by Bruce McCune.

OSU bryology student Vanesa de la Puente, has written about the problem of liverworts as an unwanted weed commonly found in greenhouses. Find her article under the tab "Liverworts in the Nursery Industry."

Bryology student Morgan Schneider, has created two do-it-yourself moss projects you can try at home in three easy steps. One project is introducing moss into shady lawns and the other project is how to create an indoor moss terrarium.
In 2000, the bryology class collaborated on the website Living with Mosses which consolidates bryophyte biology, common mosses in the Pacific Northwest, moss control, and moss related studies conducted at OSU.
